Here's the line up from the 2004 conference:

The Frassati Society of Young Adult Catholics, a fellowship group of 18-35 year-old men and women, presents its 7th annual conference July 23-25, 2004 in Lafayette, Indiana. The weekend is a tremendous opportunity to hear from enlightening speakers and meet other young adult Catholics in a relaxed and inspired atmosphere.

Program & Speakers

Mr. Michael Cumbie
An evangelical convert to Catholicism, Mr. Cumbie shares his incredible spiritual journey into the fullness of the Faith and teaches about the importance of authentic liturgical worship. Presenting three unique talks, Mr. Cumbie will focus on “The Way We Worship” as well as“ Gifts of the Holy Spirit”.

 

Rev. Mitchell Pacwa, S.J.
An educator at the high school, university and seminary levels, Fr. Pacwa is fluent in 12 Languages and has traveled
extensively throughout the Middle East affording him a unique understanding of
the peoples and cultures of the Middle East. In the Year 2000, he established Ignatius Productions, to further promote the Gospel.

Workshops are Back!

Based on the overwhelming success of the breakout sessions added last year, 4 special workshops have been developed for the 2004 conference. There will be time to attend 2 different sessions. Choose from:

  Catholic Marriage
  Christianity in the Workplace
  Catholic Decision Making
  The Spirituality of the College Student

Other activities include Eucharistic Procession and Adoration, Reconciliation, Mass, fellowship, Q&A sessions, and time for reflection and prayer. Books and religious materials will be available for sale.

Late Night is Back!

The hugely popular “Late Night with Fr. Richard” will kick off the weekend on Friday evening with musical accompaniment Cost from the Late Night band “To the
Top”.

Invitation

The Frassati Society welcomes all 18-35 year old Catholics interested in growing their faith.

Location & Date

Program each day at St. Mary Cathedral, Lafayette, Indiana. Lodging at the Holiday Inn Select. Friday July 23 - Sunday July 25.

Schedule

Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 23. Conference activities begin at 7:30 p.m. and continue through 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Cost

Payement can be made via check or electronically through Paypal. The conference cost is per person and covers meals, lodging, and conference materials. Choice of lodging includes double, triple and quad rooms. Financial assistance is available.

  Double: $175
  Triple: $155
  Quad: $125
  Other: $55

Note: All cancellations before June 25 will be assessed a $20 administration fee. All registrations cancelled after June 25 will be assessed the entire conference fee.
