Matthew Pinto is co-founder of CatholicExchange.com, a premiere Internet
portal for Catholics. He is also a co-founder and former president of Envoy
Magazine , which received the 1st Place award for General Interest Catholic
magazines in 1998 and 1999 from the Catholic Press Association. The author
of Did Adam and Eve have Belly Buttons?... and 199 other questions from Catholic
Teenagers (Ascension Press, 1998) and creator and co-author of
the Friendly Defenders Catholic Flash Cards, Matt is a well-known speaker
whose work has focused primarily on youth and young adults. Raised
a Catholic, Matt "woke up" to the Faith after
being challenged by an Evangelical Protestant friend. Unsettled
by his friend's strong objections to Catholicism, Matt searched
for answers. For two years, he spent hundreds of hours reading
Catholic books and listening to cassette tapes. This study
led him to firm convictions about the truth of Catholic teaching. While
running a successful advertising business, Matt felt God calling him to full-time
work for the Church. He sold his business
and entered the apostolate of apologetics and evangelization,
working for Catholic Answers of San Diego, CA. Matt then accepted
a position with the Diocese of San Diego, working with
the diocesan newspaper and in youth and young adult ministry. The young adult
evangelization program he developed has become a nationally recognized model
for success. Matt's desire to broaden his apostolate of evangelization was
realized when he joined forces with author and apologist Patrick Madrid (Surprised
by Truth, Pope Fiction, Basilica Press) to launch Envoy Magazine
in November 1996. Matt is a 1987 graduate of Temple University with a bachelor's
degree in communications and a minor in sociology. He has appeared
on numerous television and radio programs, including Life on
the Rock, Mother Angelica Live!, and Living His Life Abundantly
explaining and defending the Catholic Faith, and has conducted
seminars on a variety of Catholic issues throughout the country.
A native of Philadelphia, Matt and his wife Maryanne reside in
West Chester, PA, are the parents of three boys, sons Michael (4), Andrew (2),
and newborn James.

Born and raised in a Jewish home, Rosalind in her adult years
embraced Jesus as the Messiah of the Jewish people. Her initial
conversion took her from a
15-year business career as a successful executive with corporations in New
York and California to full-time Evangelical ministry, earning a master's
degree in Ministry from Talbot Theological Seminary. A series
of events in the Summer
of 1990 set her on a compelling course to find out if the Catholic Church
is in fact the Church Christ established 2,000 years ago. After
18 years of Evangelical
Protestantism, she entered the Catholic Church at Easter 1995. Now a staff apologist at Catholic Answers,
a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the Catholic
faith through all forms of media, Rosalind travels around the
world speaking and teaching at parishes and conferences. Rosalind
is the editor of Home at Last, 11 Who found their Way to the
Catholic Church, which includes her own journey to the Church.
She is also a frequent radio guest on "Catholic Answers
Live," and together with Kristine Franklin, co-hosts EWTN's "Household
of Faith" and "Now That We're Catholic!"

Reception
The next event of the Frassati Society
is a truly special event as Mr. Matthew Kelly joins us as part
of his annual “Twelve
Days of Christmas” tour with a message for the New Year.
Society members have been blessed with numerous visits from Mr.
Kelly over the years
Each year at Christmas, Kelly visits
a number of communities to evoke the meaning of this scared
time of the year. “Rediscovery
Catholicism” was the resounding theme of his 2002 presentation;
a message Society members were blessed to hear at the 2003 Conference
during Kelly’s presentation there. During last year’s “Twelve
Days of Christmas” tour, more 10,000 listened as Kelly
revealed the essence of Catholic Spirituality and the relevance
of the Church in today’s society.
This year, in “How to Make New Year’s Resolutions
that Will Change Your Life Forever” Kelly will speak about
setting goals and forming new habits that help us become the “best-version-of-ourselves” and
to embrace the life Jesus calls us to in the gospels.
Don’t miss this opportunity to
hear a powerful and inspiring message filled with practical
insights that will deeply impact
our daily lives.
Mr. Kelly’s presentation will
be held in the Church at Our Lady of Mount Carmel at 7:00 p.m.
and a special reception
with Mr. Kelly for will held immediately following in the lower
level.
From amidst a culture occupied with speed, noise, and activity,
has emerged a man with a vision of life and a tireless passion
for sharing that vision.
Dynamic, and extraordinarily engaging, Matthew Kelly comes to the aid of
individuals searching for some meaning in life deeper than
the pursuit of material things.
Born in Sydney, Australia, Matthew Kelly
began his Catholic ministry in 1993 at the age of 19. Since then,
over two million people have attended his talks, seminars, and
retreats. Against the backdrop of his travel to fifty countries,
millions more have been touched by his writings and appearances
on radio and television programs. In the wake of devoting the past decade of
his life to his international speaking schedule, Kelly has also
gained acclaim as an author. His most recent books include the
highly definitive work, Rediscovering Catholicism, The Shepherd,
The Rhythm of Life, A Call to Joy, and Mustard Seeds. Collectively
his seven titles have been published in seven languages and have
sold more than 700,000 copies. Both as a speaker and as a writer, Matthew
Kelly possesses a powerful ability to combine the ageless tool
of storytelling, with a profound understanding of today's culture
and the highest Christian ideals. As a result he captures our
imaginations and helps us to see our struggles in a new light.
With his keen sense of humor and heartwarming charm, Kelly seems
to effortlessly elevate and energize people to pursue the highest
values of the human spirit. Exploring the challenges of our modern world,
Kelly brilliantly puts into context the unchanging truths of
the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. From an age inordinately
preoccupied with doing and having, Kelly's message rings out
with a truth that is unmistakably challenging and attractive
- "Who you become is infinitely more important than what
you do, or what you have." Matthew Kelly/'s message is both timely and
timeless. His example is authentic and inspiring. His passion
for life is refreshing and challenging. It is certain that he
will continue to be, with increasing influence, one of the most
sought-after and endearing spiritual voices of our time.
